GGN's debut release "The Six Ho's" is a set of 4 holiday songs representing the group's journey from its formation to the present. The opening track, Gustav Holst's "In the Bleak Midwinter" is an homage to GGN's roots in choral music, as the members all met while singing in the Davis Chamber Choir. It is suddenly followed by a cover of "Winter Wonderland" as arranged by Take 6, one of GGN's greatest influences. Next are original arrangements, with "Santa Baby" showcasing the band's playful approach to jazz harmony, and the final track "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" again recalling traditional roots before launching into the R&B stylings of contemporary music. The song ends with a message for the band to share with each other, as well as with you, the listener: "Through the years we all will be together if the Fates allow. Hang a shining star upon the highest bough, and have yourself a merry little Christmas now."
